How To Make Dill Pickle Dip (with or without a mixer)

Cream & Mix: In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese with a hand mixer or large spoon, then blend in sour cream, Worcestershire, pickle juice, and seasonings until smooth.

Pickle Power: Fold in the chopped pickles and cheddar cheese. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.

Chill (optional but ideal): Let it sit in the fridge for at least 30-minutes if you have time. The flavors really come together and the dip will thicken some.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese such as Philadelphia brand
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder or to taste
  • 2 tsp dried dill or 1 tbsp fresh dill
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped fine
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Use a hand mixer or large spoon to blend 8 ounces cream cheese until creamy. Add in 1 cup sour cream 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp dried dill, 1 tsp Worcestershire, and 1/4 cup pickle juice. Blend until well combined and creamy.
  • Use a large spoon to fold in 1 cup diced dill pickles and 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30-minutes. Serve with potato chips, crackers, and veggies.

Notes

Store leftovers (if there are any) in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days. Just give it a quick stir before serving again.
