Easy Pork Chops with Herb Butter
These delicious pork chops with a simple herb butter cook up so fast making this recipe perfect for a busy weeknight, but not too informal for a weekend dinner party. These juicy pork chops pair well with anything from mashed potatoes, steamed rice, a green salad or roasted asparagus. My husband and daughter like boneless pork chops, but we all know a good bone in chop is where it’s at. If you’re not a pork eater, no problem! The herb butter is just as delicious on chicken and beef.
Let’s eat!🤍

Herb Butter
- 4 tbsp melted salted butter
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped

Pork Chops
- Heat a large heavy bottom skillet with fitted lid to medium high and add olive oil. Season pork chops on both sides with garlic powder ,salt and pepper. NOTE: Because you're using salted butter for the herb butter ,don't over salt the pork chops. Place pork chops in hot pan and sear on the first side for 5 minutes. Flip pork chops and put the lid on for another 5 minutes. Remove lid and put one spoon full of herb butter on top of each pork chop. Turn heat down to medium low, put the lid back on and cook for another 5 minutes. You want to be careful not to overcook your pork chops. To double check doneness ,use a meat thermometer and make sure it registers 135 F.
Just made these delicious pork chops. I followed the recipe to a T. They were super moist. I paired them with roasted vegetables (shallots, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, fennel bulb, carrots) that I seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper, and EVOO. I drizzled the entire meal with Nona Pia’s balsamic and glaze. Absolutely delicious!!
You are my inspiration! That all sounds amazing and I’m so glad you loved the chops🤩
