If you’re looking for a lighter yet still flavorful creamy dip to keep you cool this summer you have landed on the right page. Greek Yogurt Lemon Dill Dip is creamy with herby, lemony flavors. It’s the perfect warm weather snack that’s great for a picnic at the lake or just make a batch to have on hand.
This dip is ideal with fresh veggie sticks, or my personal favorite, sea salt Naan crackers. You could even serve this as more like a sauce with grilled chicken or fish. So versatile!
After you make Greek yogurt dip you have to try my Easy Homemade French Onion Dip, it’s fantastic!
Simple Ingredients:
- Greek yogurt– I like to use the fuller-fat Greek yogurt as it is much richer in taste than non-fat.
- Sour cream– This will help mellow out the tang from the yogurt.
- Fresh dill– If you can find fresh dill it really has the best flavor but dried dill will work as well.
- Dash lemon pepper seasoning– This gives the dip more lemon flavor with a peppery bite.
- Lemon juice– For a fresh bright flavor.
- Pure maple syrup– Just a touch of sweetness will balance out the tangy dip.
- Kosher salt– I use a pinch to bring out the brightness and flavors.
Only One Step To Make Greek Yogurt Lemon Dill Dip:
- Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl until incorporated. Adjust the seasonings to taste. Serve right away or place in the refrigerator until ready to eat! Easy peasy!
Common Questions:
Yes! Greek yogurt in and of itself has a lot to offer from high protein, to boosting metabolism, to lower blood sugar just to name a few. This dip has simple wholesome ingredients.
I do not recommend using the imitation syrup as it will add artificial flavors you won’t enjoy. For a substitute, use agave or honey.
This dip recipe will stay fresh for up to 5 days in the refrigerator in a sealed container. You might notice some liquid forming on the top, just drain that off and give it a good stir before serving.
You can absolutely leave out the sour cream however the dip will be thicker and tangier.
