Simple Ingredients:

Ingredients for Italian Ground Beef Sliders with Parmesan Butter Glaze. Lean ground beef, onions, seasonings, marinara, black olives, butter, parmesan cheese, soft dinner rolls, and provolone cheese.
  • Beef- I use lean ground beef (90% lean) for this recipe to prevent overly greasy sliders.
  • Onions- Infuses flavor in the beef.
  • Seasonings for beef– Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
  • Olives– Sliced black olives.
  • Marinara– Or use your favorite pasta sauce.
  • Rolls– I like to use the classic soft dinners rolls by Franz.
  • Cheese– Slices of provolone cheese (not low-fat)
  • Parmesan butter glaze– Butter, garlic powder, parmesan cheese.
  • Garnish– Fresh or dried parsley.

Substitutions or Additions:

  • Meat- Ground turkey can be used in place of ground beef. You can also swap 1/2 of the ground beef for Italian sausage to add additional flavor.
  • Rolls- You can also use Hawaiian rolls or pretzel rolls.
  • Veggies- For more flavor and texture sautĂ© garlic, bell peppers, and mushrooms to incorporate into the meat sauce.
  • Cheese- Other cheese options include mozzarella, Monterey Jack, pepper Jack, or Cheddar cheese.

Step Five. Place the bottom dinner roll half in a baking dish and top with cheese, all of the meat sauce, and remaining cheese. Finish with the top roll and brush with parmesan butter glaze.

Allow the sliders to sit at room temperature for 30-minutes before baking. Make sure to remove the cover. You may need to bake them a few minutes longer than original baking time.

Yes! You’ll be surprised to know these reheat really well. You can heat them in the microwave or for best method, place them on a sheet pan or baking dish in the oven at 300℉ until heated through. You can also use an air fryer.

The best way to prevent sogginess is to bake sliders uncovered. Foil will trap heat and create steam making the buns soggy.
