As our extended family has grown it is never enough to just make a single batch. We go through this stuff like it&#8217;s our last meal on earth! Adults, kids, everyone loves French onion dip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My best friend gifted me a homemade French onion mix for Christmas last year and it was awesome! I couldn&#8217;t believe how much it resembled what I usually buy only without the laundry list of ingredients.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Making your own Homemade French Onion Dip doesn&#8217;t have to be complicated. My version is basically 2 ingredients with a few seasonings. It takes 5-minutes or less to make and it comes out thick and creamy. This will give a chance for the dried onions to soften and the flavors to blend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hardest part about this recipe is that 30-minute wait time but I promise it&#8217;s worth it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What to serve with onion dip:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Classic <strong>ruffled potato chips<\/strong> are always a must but <strong>Frito scoops<\/strong> (original corn chips) are so yummy. Carrot and celery sticks are great for those that want something a little lighter.
