Who doesn't love a classic bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich? Well I dare to say that this BLT Chicken Salad with Ranch Dressing is just as irresistible. It might even be better than the real thing!

Salad
- 6 cups chopped Romain or iceberg lettuce
- 1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cups cooked, cubed chicken breast
- 6 slices crisp cooked bacon I use turkey bacon
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
Ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 3 tbsp prepared ranch dressing
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- salt and pepper
Assemble salad
Add lettuce to a large bowl then scatter the top with cooked chicken, bacon, tomatoes, and red onion. Serve ranch dressing on the side.
Tips:
Additional add-ins-
- Shredded cheese
- Fresh avocado
- Fresh herbs like parsley or dill
- Croutons
Make ahead-
If you want to make this several hours in advance or even the day before, just add the bacon right before serving so it’s nice and crisp.
Short-cuts-
Use a store-bought rotisserie or pre-cooked chicken breast strips like foster farms grill strips. There are also plenty of great brands that have packaged lettuce so you can skip the chopping for an even faster prep. If you don't want to cook anything for this BLT Salad you could even purchase pre-cooked bacon bits.
