Corn Flake Christmas Wreath
A beautiful and tasty treat for the Holidays. Corn Flake Christmas Wreath is like an elevated rice krispies treat experience. Each bite is crisp and buttery with ooey gooey marshmallows.
Ingredients
- 1 (16) ounce bag regular marshmallows
- 3/4 cup butter, 1 1/2 sticks
- 2 1/2 tsp green food coloring
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 9 cups corn flakes, or a 12 oz box
- red cinnamon candies for garnish
Instructions
- In an extra large bowl add corn flakes and set aside.
- Heat a large non-stick pan with deep sides over low heat. Add marshmallows and butter. Melt slowly until completely smooth, stirring often. Once melted add in food coloring and vanilla extract and stir to combine.
- Pour melted marshmallow mixture over corn flakes and stir gently to coat corn flakes. Pour mixture onto a greased medium size round serving dish and form into the shape of a wreath. Note: Coat hands in butter or non-stick spray to make it easier to form. Place 3 cinnamon candies every 3-4 inches apart in a cluster to resemble holly. Let stand at least 30-minutes at room temperature before slicing.

Tips:
Make sure to butter the serving dish and your hands when forming the wreath. It is very sticky so this will help make the process smooth and enjoyable.
How long will Corn Flake Christmas Wreath last- If you have any leftovers, the corn flake wreath will stay fresh for up to 2 days in an airtight container. It will still be edible after 2 days but won’t have the same fresh flavor and texture.
