This recipe makes me so happy and I’m excited to finally share it with you! My mom used to make this when I was growing up and it was something I looked forward to every year for Christmas. When I was a bit older and started spending time with my husbands family for the holidays, this recipe was my go-to because everyone loved and devoured it.
Maybe you’ve seen other recipes that make smaller individual wreaths? Those are super cute, but if you’re going for a true marshmallow gooey factor, the larger wreath wins by a land slide. Plus, it’s much easier and faster to shape.
This truly is a festive and beautiful treat for the holidays but it’s equally delicious. You’ll love the buttery vanilla flavored corn flakes, and this has the best gooey marshmallow-pull ever.
Why you’ll love Corn Flakes Christmas Wreath:
- It’s fun and easy to make, and perfect for a quick last minute holiday party.
- Everyone will love it and it’s a great conversational piece.
- It’s delicious and sinfully good.
- A festive holiday treat that’s unique and different from other classics.
Ingredients For Corn Flakes Christmas Wreath:
- Regular size marshmallows
- Salted butter
- Green food coloring
- Vanilla extract
- Corn flakes
- Red cinnamon candies

How To Make Corn Flakes Christmas Wreath:
Step 1. In an extra large bowl add corn flakes and set aside.
Step 2. In a large non-stick pan with deep sides melt marshmallows and butter. Add in green food coloring and vanilla extract and stir to combine.
Step 3. Pour melted marshmallow mixture over corn flakes and stir gently to coat corn flakes. Pour mixture onto a medium size round serving dish and form into the shape of a wreath. Place 3 cinnamon candies every 3-4 inches apart in a cluster to resemble holly. Let stand at least 30-minutes at room temperature before slicing.
How long will Corn flakes Christmas Wreath last?
If you have any leftovers, the corn flakes wreath will stay fresh at room temperature for up to 2 days in an airtight container. It will still be edible after 2 days but won’t have the same fresh flavor and texture.
Recipe Tip:
- Make sure to butter the serving dish and your hands when forming the wreath. It is very sticky so this will help make the process smooth and enjoyable.
