Green Goddess Chicken Pasta Salad
This flavor packed Green Goddess Chicken Pasta Salad made with tender bowtie pasta, chicken, and a tangy, herb goddess dressing. The perfect salad for potlucks, BBQ's, or a simple lunch.

Pasta ingredients:
- 1 pound cooked chicken breast, cut into chunks or shredded
- 8 ounces bowtie pasta, cooked al dente, according to package instructions make sure to rinse pasta with cold water after it's cooked
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
Dressing ingredients:
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup fresh basil
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup fresh chives
- 2 tbsp fresh dill
- 2 tbsp prepared pesto
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1/2 small lemon, juiced
- 1 tsp agave or honey
- 1-2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- kosher salt to taste
Tip:
Taste dressing first before adding any salt. Both the mayo and pesto are well seasoned so you may not need any salt.
In a large serving bowl add cooked pasta and chicken. Pour in the dressing and toss to coat well. Add 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and give it another good toss. Garnish with additional 1/4 cup parmesan and serve.
Tips:
Chicken Options-
Just about any kind of chicken can be used in this recipe. Slow cooker chicken, grilled chicken, leftover, and even a rotisserie from the grocery store would work great.
Add veggies-
Some of my favorite veggies are asparagus, peas, broccoli, cucumbers, and tomatoes. I like to blanch the tougher veggies in boiling water for 1-2 minutes to soften them slightly.
Make ahead-
You can definitely make this in advance and it’s great for leftovers. For a super creamy pasta salad experience you’ll want to serve this right away.
